Grey Wolf Lodge is excited to start a tradition of wellness, and healthy, happy living by offering Yoga Retreats.  I, Carol Carlson (Sat Nam Kaur) with husband John & son Jake Metsa, just purchased the pristine and beautiful Grey Wolf Lodge Resort on Pelican Lake in northern Minnesota. The property, located on 34 acres with 1000 ft. of sandy shoreline along the lake are perfect for renewing our energy and spirit thru the practice of yoga in the great northern wilderness.

A practitioner of yoga since 1983 I have been teaching steadily since 1991.  After moving from MN to NYC in the early eighties to pursue my dance career I ended up in yoga classes on a daily bases.  Certified in Kundalini Yoga since 1992 and again in 1995 and studying with numerous teachers and in studios around the USA for 25 years my teaching is a combination of Kundalini Yoga and Power yoga. I taught in NYC at “Kundalini Yoga East” from 1993 to 2000, as well as numerous health clubs and privately before moving back to Minnesota in 2000.  My  Yoga  Video “With Grace and Strength” was released in 1998.  Since returning back to MN, I have helped build a Yoga community educated in and committed to yoga.  This year I have also opened a Yoga Studio at River Street Square in Cook MN. Now we can enjoy yoga classes and each other in a serene and nurturing place. With the purchase of “Grey Wolf Lodge” our vision can extend beyond our neighborhood as we invite you all to practice with us in this amazing natural environment.  We are now in the process of adding a yoga practice building equipped with a sauna, massage room, shower,& class and meditation room.  Although we are just starting the building we hope to have much of it completed by our first Yoga Retreat.

Yoga Space This is the church as it was when we bought the building.  The carpet is now in the Comet Theater movie area and lobby.  The hardwood floors were under the carpet and just needed a little TLC to bring out their beauty.  New windows add so much light.  Its hard to tell here but there is no natural light. carol
