Join us for a weekend of wellness as we unite the practices of yoga and herbalism to renew our bodies and uplift our spirits. Strengthen your body and mind through yoga and movement, rejuvenate in nature, and be pampered during our botanical spa and elixir party! Let’s use this weekend as an opportunity to cleanse the old and call forth the new.

Cabin size may vary depending on number of people in your group. If you are alone we will find you a cabin with a few other’s to share.

Journey through the Chakras

Using Kundalini Yoga and Meditation we will awaken and balance the subtle energy vortexes along the spine called Chakra’s. You will gain understanding of how the chakras work, how they affect you, your energy, and your wellbeing on a practical day- to-day level. This powerful class will start you on a journey of self-awareness and discovery.

Evening Activities
Evening bonfire, sauna, playing pool, and socializing or relaxing on the lake.

Accessing the Hero Within

Between work & family, balancing responsibility’s along with personal interests in today’s hectic world can leave us depleted and uninspired. We all need techniques to rejuvenate body, mind and spirit. Today’s class starts by strengthening and detoxifying the body. Next we focus on opening the heart center while cultivating a neutral mind. In a place of strength, openness and compassion we have a possibility of renewed inspiration in moving forward in our daily life. Be the best you can be. Be that hero to yourself and those you love.

Free Time 11:30-3pm
This time is open for lunch, socializing, and enjoying nature. We will have a masseuse on hand from 11:30 on for anyone who want’s to book a massage.

Natures Remedies
3-5pm Introduction to Herbalism

In this hands-on class, we will learn the basics of herbalism and on using local plants for medicinal purposes. We will earn to make internal remedies in class including: herbal teas, infusions, syrups, pills, candies, and more!

Spa Hour
Wine, cheese & hor d'oeuvres will be served!
Pamper yourself with our Herbal Steam & Sauna, foot detox baths, herbal scrubs, edible facials, and taste our medicinally formulated botanical rums and herbal elixers!

Carol has been practicing and teaching yoga for 30 years. In the early 1990's she became a certified IKYA teacher and was a devoted student of Yogi Bhajan. She taught at many studio's throughout NYC from 1990-2000 (Kundalini Yoga East) before moving back to northern MN where she lives and teaches today. Carol continues a daily yoga and meditation practice, and her classes today are a reflection of her continuous yoga studies and styles. Carol was written up in Natural Living Today and was noted in W magazine as one of yoga's best teachers in 1998.

Things to do at Grey Wolf Lodge
The yoga studio and lodge will be open from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The Studio is available between classes for students who want to practice and meditate on their own. There is also a sauna in the building or you can schedule a massage, during your free time for quests staying at the lodge.

Outdoor activities are plentiful. The grounds and the surrounding area are great for running, hiking, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and playing a game of volleyball, Mini-golf, or Frisbee-golf.

The lodge will also be open for people to gather, hang out and play pool, foosball or pinball, watch TV (an idea), and use the wireless internet. In the evening you can sit around the bonfire or cook yourself a gourmet meal on the grill and relax as you gaze at the brilliant northern stars….

Sat Nam Kaur - Carol Carlson Instructor
Carol Carlson Sat Nam Kaur (Carol Carlson) is a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher since 1990 who has been practicing many styles of yoga since the early 1980’s. She studied and taught yoga daily for 18 years in NYC; Teaching at yoga studios, health clubs, businesses (Scholastic), privately and at “Kundalini Yoga East” until 2000. Although Kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is her base, she practices and blends other yoga styles. Carol practiced for years at the Jivamukti Yoga Studio in NY, and continues practicing Ashtanga, Power, Iyengar, and Bikram styles of yoga. My classes are a blend of a strong physical practice, equaled with focus on breath pranayama, & meditation to renew the body open the mind and deepen our experience of what it means to be fully human. Kundalini meets Vinyasa flow if you will. All Carol’s classes have intention. We work to our capacity on strength & flexibility; we work on purification techniques as well as open your horizons to a broader perspective. Each class will deepen your connection to self and life purpose as leave you balanced, at peace and inspired.
